Fleet Maintenance Facility
The former Walter Simmons Housing Site is a 32+ acre property being developed as a Municipal Complex. Working with the City of Memphis Leadership and Staff, new site infrastructure has been completed along with the Property Maintenance Facility (41,000 SF) and the Fleet Maintenance Facility (62,000 SF). The aesthetics of the Fleet Maintenance Facility building are contemporary and refined featuring a blend of Burnished Concrete masonry units, Metal Panels, Aluminum storefronts, Metal access and overhead doors, Metal and membrane roofing. The building has a Heavy Fleet Shop, Parts Warehouse, Light Fleet Maintenance Lanes, as well as Administrative Offices, Training Space, and other support spaces. Sustainable features have also been effectively incorporated throughout the building.
