Green Leaf Learning Farm Agri-tourism Master Plan
Green Leaf Learning Farm (GLLF) is a signature program of Knowledge Quest. STA has been assisting GLLF with Planning and Architectural Services since 2013. The Master Planning of GLLF includes the conversion of 30 former vacant, blighted lots and the repurposing of 3 abandoned buildings into an urban micro-farm. The current focus of our work with GLLF is an Agri-tourism Master Plan. Tourism opportunities are abundant with over 60,000 tourists currently visiting the neighborhood through STAX Museum. GLLF is prepared to leverage their existing assets. STA is assisting GLLF to take this project to its next plateau and excited to develop a neighborhood level community development initiative of national significance. The Master Plan will produce an overall, 3-acre site plan, lot specific renderings and to support Agri-tourism development and related income generation. A project that combines a 10-unit, Enterprise Green Certified apartment community; Commons Building; Farm Infrastructure; a Packhouse; and Agri-tourism through tenets of sustainability, conservation, education and food security.
