The scope of work included identification and removal of non-original elements, preservation of original elements and restoration of missing elements based on original drawings and physical evidence. Historically correct colors for this Federal revival style home were selected by period and matched to original colors found within the house. The lower level was made fully ADA accessible. All work was done under the Secretary of the Interior Standards and received review and approval by Memphis Landmarks Commission and the State Historic Preservation Officer in Nashville.
